Austrian Stöger Seed Oils Win sofi™ Award 2013

Stoeger Seed Oils is the first Austrian producer to take home the prestigious sofi™ Award. The 41st sofi awards, from the Specialty Food Association, were presented at a red-carpet ceremony hosted by internationally-acclaimed chef Marcus Samuelsson at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on July 1, 2013.Stoeger Cherry Seed Oil won the Golden Award in the Outstanding Oil categroy. The oil is made from pure cherry seeds that are slowly roasted and cold-pressed. A sofi Award is the top honor in the $86 billion specialty food industry. “sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation.
